Michael Frost grew up singing gospel music with his family in East Tennessee. By the time he was a teenager, he was harmonizing with his cousins and traveling on weekends across the southeast with a family band, The Frost Family, performing a variety of music from gospel to bluegrass and country.

That band evolved into a vocal trio that did very well in the southern gospel music field with nationwide radio airplay and a publishing / recording contract.

As a songwriter, Michael has had several cuts by some of gospel music's most popular artists, such as Ivan Parker, Heirline and more. Michael also worked as a writer for his hometown newspaper, The Rogersville Review, for 10 years, gaining experience in many aspects of the business such as reporting, graphic design, photography and composing.

Michael was hired to perform professionally at The Miracle Theater in Pigeon Forge, TN in 2006. He is currently portraying John the Baptist in the show and is also featured occasionally as a pre-show soloist. He continues to pursue his interests in singing and songwriting. In
2008, he plans to record his first solo CD of Christian music.
